Ben Howard is a local Totnes lad and at the 2013 Brit Awards he received two Brit Awards for British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act. He performed at 2013 Glastonburyfestival on the Pyramid Stage on Saturday 29 June 2013.
He was chosen to be the face of the T£10 note and attended the launch of this currency on 20 May 2014 where he signed just ten notes. These are a very rare souvenir from the town.
