In 1977 Christiania issued notes. The 5 and 10 Regnbuedalere are more than ultra-rare, they are impossible to find. After all my years of searching I have only recently managed to obtain one of each for my collection. However, with these came a spare 1 Regnbuedalere note. I am delighted to be able to offer it to you here. 
 
Freetown Christianiais an intentional community and commune of about 850 to 1,000 residents, covering 34 hectares (84 acres) in the borough of Christianshavn in the Danish capital city of Copenhagen. It was temporarily closed to residents in April 2011 by the Danish government, but later re-opened. Christiania has been a source of controversy since its creation in a squatted military area in 1971. Its cannabis trade was tolerated by authorities until 2004. Since then, relations between Christiania and Danish authorities have been strained. As of 2018 cannabis trade is on going and the danish police officers are in place and do not allow the use or trade of other drugs like cocaine and heroine. Their currency is used on one day a year for the city parties, and comes in three forms, røg, vand and øl, (smoke, water and beer).
